His Eminence visits the injured victims of Westgate tragedy in hospital

His eminence John Cardinal Njue visited the victims of Westgate tragedy at MP Shah Hospital and Agha khan hospital in Nairobi on Tuesday September 24.

During the visit the Cardinal prayed for the victims some of who were still in critical condition in the two hospitals. 

He also thanked the doctors and the staff of the hospitals for working selflessly and tirelessly to attend to the casualties.

Addressing the media at the two hospitals, Cardinal Njue said that, the tragedy will not divide Kenyans but bring them together.

Referring to the attackers, he said that life is sacred and no one has a right to take it. The Cardinal hoped that the government would get into the bottom of the tragedy which had claimed the lives of many Kenyans leaving others wounded.

Cardinal Njue is also the chairman of Finance Committee of AMECEA and the Chairman of Kenya Conference of 
Catholic Bishops.
